And oh boy did Red Hood kill. But, he only killed dirt bags, and he protected kids. The same kind of kids that Jason had one been. Forgotten and lost to the system and the city. The same as when he was Robin. He crossed the line, but he was still him inside.
Something about Bruce's words breaks something in him, and Jason starts to sob against his shoulder. He never expected that. He wasn't prepared for it.
